The ECJ Fund is the first indigenous-led fund in the Congo Basin—designed by local communities, for local communities. Our governance and grant-making are rooted in the region’s cultural context, prioritising grassroots environmental action and climate justice. We provide small, high-impact grants as low as $500, enabling support for remote organisations that traditional international funding often overlooks.
